Woodworks
My real name is Aimee Wood, and the Wood family has a long history of woodworking and practical commissions to make our livings. My own woodwork is a far cry from the carpentry and furniture making of the past, but it was wonderful to teach myself the craft and continue the tradition. Welcome to the original “Aimee Wood Works”.
Below are a few of my past woodworking projects. From 2014 to 2020, I primarily earned my livelihood by making life-size wooden props for cosplayers and collectors, specializing in wooden replicas of keyblades, gunblades, and swords from video games and anime.
As of Summer 2020, I no longer have a woodshop space and have ceased my professional woodworking. While I hope to run a workshop again someday, I do not believe I will make the same things- 500 kingdom key keyblades alone takes its toll on a person. My Keyblade Mastercrafting days are over!
While my woodshop was open, I took my Work quite seriously. Over 700 of my life-size wooden props exist in the world! Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to each and every one of my customers.
