🎁 I have received the Royal Master Edition Proof Copy. 😳

It. Is. Beyond. My. Wildest. Imaginings. ⚡️ The wait, the headache, the frustration- it's all been absolutely worth it, and I cannot wait for you to open them.

I will not be revealing what the Master Editions look like to anyone but close friends and family. Your experience of opening your Master Edition box will be as unspoiled as I can make it be... but...

Here are my first impressions. 👑 The Royal Master Editions are:

-Huge. Beautiful. Coffee table quality. I can't believe it. Heavy. Eye catching. 🔥 🎊 🎉

-The gilded paper edges are stunning. I had pretty much forgotten about that add on entirely, and WOW, it is one of my favorite parts. 💰

-It lies flat. It stays open to ANY page. I am. enamored. It's a perfect cookbook. 📖

-All of you are going to be afraid to use it in the kitchen, lol. It's too glamorous! But you must! I want you to write all over these and stain them with bourguignon. 🥘 🥄

-You guys deserve the best I could make this be. 😭  The expectation after so many months of waiting is quite high, and I always worry that I might let someone down. Of course, I'm sure I've missed a typo, or formatting, and I know already that I forgot to translate a few things into metric- BUT. I think this is a book you can be proud to have backed and been a part of. They were worth their hefty expense, and years of my life.

6 Mini Updates:

1) 👑 The Royal Master Edition Print Run 📖  is COMPLETE! They shipped it to me this past Friday! 📚 The cookbooks are being pallet shipped (by actual ship! 🚢 ) and so will be taking until the end of May or so to get to me. I don't have the tracking information yet, but when I do, I'll let the Discord know exact dates!

As of now, you should still be getting your cookbooks in June! 🎉

2) ⚒ Given I have been under the Denver stay at home order for the last month, I've had a lot of time for crafting! 😂  I've spent my free time making you all things:

3) 🔖 I have made 827 (out of ~1100) leather bookmarks! They are cute, smol, and should last a long time! I've selected a little heart container-esque embossing stamp I hope you'll like, and of course, each one has a tassel! ♥️ These will be included with every (kickstarter only!) Master Edition! (The hammering has not been... particularly well received by my roommates, 😐 so I'm trying to do it when people are out of the house, but with the stay at home order... you can imagine. 🏡)

4) 💌 I have made 486 (out of... gosh, 1764?) little thank you certificates! Originally, this was an unlocked bonus for Master Editions, but it would feel strange not including a little thank you note with each book, given everything you've all done for this project, so everyone is getting one! I've been breaking out the wax stamps and watching a lot of Downton Abbey. ☕️ 🖊 📜

5) 📦 I'm starting the Standard Edition packaging today! Those 486 thank you certificates are for the 486 kickstarted Standard Editions, so I have all I need to start wrapping things up! ♥️ 📜 📖 🎁

6) The actual publishing is going well! The point of this Kickstarter was to publish the cookbooks- the print runs right now are just for you! 💜 Once you all have your cookbooks, I'll get to hit the button! ✅

The Standard Edition cookbooks will be available from all online book sellers, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Booksamillion, etc! People will be able to buy the book, and then the book will be printed and sent to them- 📦 without me doing much of anything! 🥳 This means you'll also be able to request it at your local (US) library, which is crazy! 😱

Of course, I'll still have signed and hand wrapped books up on my Etsy store along with the Master Editions (until they run out!). As of now, the copyright filing with the library of congress has gone through, the ISBN is attached, and it's all ready to go as soon as I can get this Kickstarter done! I am so eager. I cannot wait.
