☀️ Good Morning!!!! and Happy (soon) Thanksgiving!!! 🦃  Welcome to the long awaited 3 month, 7 part update!! 🎉 🎊

Part 1: Revenge of the Formatting ⚔️

The Metric Conversion has been VANQUISHED! 🎺  (meaning it is now done. Every recipe on each page includes both US and Metric measurements. This cookbook is now INTERNATIONAL as a personal thank you to all of its international backers!) 🎉

The first 310 pages of the book have now been etched into stone (metaphorically), and today I'm going through to finish page numbers/order, so I can put in an index page at the back. The print run looms...

Part 2: Schrödinger's Cookbook 🐈 📖

Does this cookbook actually exist?!? Perhaps I am hoodwinking you all in some Ganondorf-inspired plan! 😈  But no, nay-sayers, I assure you, this cookbook does exist, in multiple backed up formats, and physical copies of the original 200 page proof exist in real life (as seen in the Kickstarter video!) 📚

It's the post-kickstarter to do list that has taken me much longer than I have anticipated. 😐

After the $3k goal was not just 10x met, but nearly 30x met, it was important to me to make the book that much better 📈 to include the 50+ pages of unlocked bonus content in each cookbook! 🎁

In two years, I wrote 200 pages. In the last 3 months, I have written an additional 100 pages.😅  It's been me, nearly non-stop (I do have a job!) working on this cookbook, I know the waiting is tough, but the cookbook will be that much more delicious for every additional day it takes to perfect, test, and edit. 🖊

I am one person- I've done everything from recipe testing and design, to graphics on the kickstarter, to book formatting, to composing and recording the music in the kickstarter video. I personally sent each of you your welcome message here on Kickstarter- that's right, that was not automatic.

🎁 I'm not one to deliver something that's not the best I can make it- that's why you're here.You've backed this project, and are helping to make it incredible: It may take time, but I will fulfill my pledge to you. ♥️

Part 3: Updates from the Void ✨

It's been a month since the last official Kickstarter update!!! 😮 Or... It's been 24 hours since the last update from me on Discord! ⏰  I really wanted the next official update to be the print run announcement, so I had been waiting- but now it has been a month and that's a bit long! ⌛️

I am sorry if the long update wait had you worried- I am here, I am healthy, I am puttering away away at this cookbook! 👊  It sounds like I should update the Kickstarter more frequently, even if there's no big news- so that's what I will do moving forward as I had originally intended; this last month has been a bit more packed than usual. ♥️

Part 4: 🎄🎄🎄 Christmas? 🎄🎄🎄

Alas. My biggest hope, dashed by my own timeline. ⏳ This is my fault. If I had known how large this Kickstarter would become, I would have estimated January or February for delivery ❄️ If ever I do anything like this again, I will super pad the timeline (I thought I had super padded the timeline but you all proved me very wrong thank you 😭 )

The cookbook will not be done printing in time to arrive by Christmas, as the original $3k goal timeline outlined. I know so many of you intend for this to be a gift for your own loved ones, and it makes me sad. 🎁

I am so sorry. It was either: a Bigger Complete Book 📖  🎉 , or a Christmas Delivery 🎄 🚚 , and I had to pick the book.

To try to make up for it, I'm making a simple Digital Cookbook Certificate Card. 💌  It will have the cover design, and the details of the cookbook/kickstarter inside- that way you can print it out to have something to give while you wait for the actual cookbook to arrive! 🎀  I will send these out in an update in December, and they should have a firm time for when the books will go out.

🚚 If the post-Christmas delivery means you might have a new address- you can update your address on Kickstarter! I will also let everyone know again to update their address before I print shipping labels. 📦 🏷

Part 5: Early Cucco Dinner Menu! 🌅 🐓

Happy Thanksgiving!!! I'm releasing an early cucco full course menu with 9 early recipes! 🔥  I know it's been a long wait, but I hope to keep your stomachs full and happy in the mean time! 😊  You can find these new recipes in the Discord, I'll post them right after this update goes up. 💫  If you recall, you unlocked 15 of these menus, below is just 1! 🏆 I know it's not the same as having the actual book, but let me bribe you with lots of good food while you wait, yes?

🧪 ☕️ 🥘 🥖 The Tingly and Minish Dinner Menu 🍄 🌽 🥔 🥮 🍑

Drinks: 🍹

🧪 Tingly Power Up Potion, this raspberry mint concoction will give you tingles, what more can I say? Serve in a tingly potion bottle for authenticity. 🍃

☕️ Moka Chai’s Mocha Chai, inspired by Chai or Moka, a character in Mama’s cafe in The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, here is a recipe for loose leaf chai tea! 🍫

Soup Course: 🍜

🍲 Tasty Meat Stew, a wholesome and chunky stew of veggies and beef will satisfy any construction worker after a hard day of work! Perhaps this is why it is Hudson’s favorite dish! Try the spicy variant from Rito Stable, or call it ‘Tasty Stew’ if you love Tingle! 🥕 🥔

🥖 Wheat Bread, these wheat bread bolillos are so soft and springy on the inside, with a crunchy exterior. They are perfect for mopping up leftover soup and stew! 🍞

Entrées: 🍽

🍄 Glazed Mushrooms, a simple recipe for honey caramelized mushrooms, with a dash of balsamic vinegar to make it tangy! 🍯

🌽 Super Sweetcorn, this and Bum Peach Cobbler are the Minish Menu secret recipe(s)! They can be cooked at the same time, and by the time you are done eating dinner, the Bum Peach Cobbler will be cool enough to eat! 🌾

🥔 Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, while not mentioned specifically in the Legend of Zelda, many recipes are beautifully paired with these delectable sides! Serve with salt-grilled meals, cast iron sautés, or skewers! 🥘

Dessert: 🧁

🥮 Slice of Fruit Pie, Kara Kara Bazaar’s favorite chilly fruit pie, topped with a variety of fresh fruit and cream! You can also enjoy slices of fruit pie in The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap! 🍊

🍑 Bum Peach Cobbler, this and Super Sweetcorn are the Minish Menu secret recipe(s)! They can be cooked at the same time, and by the time you are done eating dinner, the Bum Peach Cobbler will be cool enough to eat! 🥧

Part 6: The Print Run 🏃‍♀️ 📚

It's been a back and forth adventure in learning about publishing and all that goes into it! 🧭  I'm working with two print companies (one for each edition), and we're still ironing out all those details and cover designs to make sure everything is exactly how it should be. 📜

📝 While this is going on, I'm still working on the cookbook- it looks like timing wise I'll be able to finally within the next couple of weeks. Unfortunately, this is also their busiest time of year, which is why they are not hopeful regarding a Christmas delivery. 😔

🍁  Fall fades and ❄️ Winter settles in, and those of us further from the equator get less sunlight ☀️  per day...

This is the time of year when Seasonal Affective Disorder and cycles of depression can start to suck you in. 🌀 Don't let it. Fight it. 🗡  Build a ladder, be aware of yourself, and take those small steps each day to pull yourself out of it. Don't let the darkness win, we need you!
