The crossroads of Zelda and Cooking has turned out to be a magical place, and the discord Royal Welcome Guard is ready to greet our newcomers! 💜  I want to apologize again that the cookbook is not printed yet, with you, to be wrapped for the holidays. It's coming together each day, and I hope I can help you make a gift they can start to enjoy now, and anticipate for later. I'll have exciting news, great fairies willing, before the end of the year!

How to make a deluxe gift: 💝 🎁 💕

You might not have the cookbook, but by Hylia, they'll be unwrapping something! Here's an idea!

📜 1) Print out the 3 page scroll, and a selection of the early recipes you think they might enjoy! You can print onto fancy paper, or weather the paper for an aged look. Attach the 3 pages into one long page (tape, staple, or glue), and roll it into a scroll and tie with a ribbon. Roll the recipes into more scrolls.

🎁 2) Prepare a cooking chest. The scope of this is up to you! You can find inexpensive wooden chests of the right size at craft stores like Michael's or Joann's. You can fill it with cooking or Legend of Zelda themed items: your scrolls, glass potion bottles 🧪 (find at the craft stores!), an apron, a chef hat 👨‍🍳 , specific supplies (like jars and pectin for Red Chu Jelly) 🏺 , prepared and wrapped recipes or desserts (like Rock Hard Food or Goron Spice 🍛 , Moka Chai's Mocha Chai tea blend 🍵 ), or the raw ingredients for a delicious snack (a bunch of baby red bell peppers, 🌶  with the spices needed to make "Spicy Sautéed Peppers"). You could also, depending on time, paint and decorate the chest on theme!

🎀 2.5) Optional: Wrap or Don't! If you've never tried to wrap a chest, don't worry and don't be too hard on yourself, it's impossible to do perfectly- just cover it and use a lot of tape. If it's a hassle- hey, the chest is the wrapping anyway, go without the wrapping!

🎶 3) Chest Opening Sound. Not optional- as they are opening the chest, have The Legend of Zelda chest opening sound on your phone. Time it just right, and press play right as they are opening the chest or scroll! Click here for a link to a youtube video that has it! na Na NA NAAAAA!!! :D
