In a few minutes, you will be receiving a message from Kickstarter. It is your last chance to change your shipping address for this project. Because... the Master Editions will arrive at my house next week! ⚡️
⏰ You have 48 hours to change your address. 📦
💌 The email you will get from Kickstarter will include what they have as your address. If it is correct, you are good to go- no action needed! 🚚 If it is not correct, click the link in the email and you will be able to change your address from there.
⌛️ If you miss this deadline and need to change your address, please do not panic, I will do my best to make sure your cookbook gets to where it needs to go, just private message me. 💜
🤩 In the mean time... Mini Updates! 🥳
1) 🖥 The Digital Edition! These will be sent out to everyone after the physical cookbooks are in everyone's hands. The Digital Edition also already has additional edits:
2) 📝 Edits and future Cookbook Editions! I will be keeping the Digital Edition updated as time goes on- so if you find any typos in your physical copy, you can check them against the digital, and if I missed them, let me know in the Discord (in the channel #cookbook-edits) and I'll update it. Already, (😭) I missed translating a couple things to metric, a couple typos, a formatting change, and I mention marshmallows in a recipe that does not include marshmallows??? why. Any future print runs will be the updated version- so your first edition will be a true first edition, like the first edition Hobbit! Thank you for your help.
3) 📖 I have found an upside down Standard Edition. ⬇️ ⬆️ While packaging the standards a few weeks ago, I ran across a cookbook where the interior is one way, and the cover is on upside down! 🌀 I felt I was having a stroke, and after the laughter calmed down, I contacted the manufacturer. It's apparently quite rare- they were surprised I found one in such a small print run. 📚 I mentioned this on the Discord, and a good number of you want it! But I feel uncomfortable selling it or auctioning it off, as it's obviously misprinted. Instead- I thought I might give it away! ♥️
4) 🎁 Downside Up Giveaway: If you're interested in the upside down cookbook^ (it would not replace your backed cookbook rewards- it would be sent in addition to your Kickstarter reward), please comment on this update (on Kickstarter), and include the word 'Giveaway'! 😮 I will randomly select one of you (by this Friday, May 22, 2020), I'll sign it upside down, and I'll send it with everything else! I hope you'll enjoy this oddity! 😊 (Unfortunately, I can only do this for someone who is already receiving a package directly from me- so only enter if you live in the US, or, if you are international and backed for a Master Edition. I'm sorry!)
5) The Next Update is Shipping! 🏆 The next time you hear from me, it will be because shipping is underway! 🎁
😭 The last 9 months with all of you has been an unexpected and wonderful whirlwind. I feel both relieved that we're near the end, and so anxious and sad that it is ending. I think of you with every wax seal I stamp ⚒ with every bookmark tassel I loop 🔖 with every brown paper package I tie up with string 📦 . ♥️ Thank you for your kindness and patience when I needed it, 🤝 for supporting each other so fervently in the Discord, and I hope you know I'll be sticking to your side through thick and thin- maybe you'll make it out to Colorado some day. 🏔 I won't know what to do with my time after all of this! 🕰
