Kickstarter Update for 2nd Cookbook
    [Also posted to Kickstarter!]
Dear Adventurers,
I hope you have not forgotten me, for I have thought of you daily! September flashed by in a painful literal blur, and while I have little to update except slow forward progress, it is high time for a tiny newsletter!
- Cookbook work is slow (but at least steady), arguing about formatting and printing with the print company, designs and bells and whistles, weighing our options now that we're closer to the physical printing!
 - Another month, another round of antibiotics. Unfortunately I am suffering from some chronic infected corneal ulcers, which are painful, like something is perma stuck in your eye and you can't get it out, and it makes me quite light sensitive. It's been over a month now, the fight is ongoing. Like everything else I am not giving up, this life is just ridiculous. ✨
- This has made "screen time" difficult, but I am doing my best.
 - I'm back to eyeglasses instead of contact lenses in the mean time; nerd. 🤓

 - I am getting better at pacing, and accepting my new baselines.
- While my objective is still a delivery before the end of the year-- with your support, kindness, and patience-- I am trying to not sacrifice myself and my health for it. This is difficult, as my tendency is toward the grind, and it is so hard to slow down-- but my body is making me. :'|
 - Your rewards are still on the way, other things in my life are happening too, so fast, and I'm along for the ride as much as I am driving. Thank you, for your encouragement, for following, for being here, and doing your best too. <3

 - Goodness. <3 We've made it to October ya'll. Happy Birthday. Enjoy your Autumn (or Spring, you lovely south hemisfolks), and I'll be getting back to regular posting with my eye improvement.

With love, and all my perseverance;
♥︎A

ps-- less down time this month with my recoveries (I've also been sick more than once, LOL. :< ), yet I have created six more adoptable sleepy korok friends! An excuse for me to hand-stamp some little notes for ya'll, if you have need for a little watercolor guardian.
(NO AI INVOLVED. OMG. Thank you for the suggestion, I am sure it would save TIME, but I, while I respect those who make different choices, I AM NOT USING AI IN THIS PROJECT, NO AI IN MY ART, IN MY BOOK, IN MY WRITING, IN MY RECIPES. Goodness gracious. Traditional, home grown, from scratch, with testing and inklings, failed experiments and the human experience-- this cookbook is my art, my way, my lifestyle; and AI has no place in it. This is my love letter to Zelda, to Hyrule, to living for something greater than self, than the quest ahead, than the obstacles we face along the way-- this is about love for a kingdom, for found friends, for friends lost, for every fork in the road, from the strength in my blade to the strength in our hearts--- the wait is worth my whiling BECAUSE it is flesh and blood, time and intention, love and pain. To delegate that 'work' adlib to a fill-in-the-blank robot ? An empty heart container cannot fill another; only healing, love, and magic can do that; and I still have some of those up my sleeve.  ...okay <3 rant over, sry)

I've also ripped off the update bandaid with a smaller audience! (thank you founding champions, ♥︎B, ♥︎D, ♥︎K, ♥︎T) I've gotten back to my monthly show and tell video over on my website for patrons; if a longer, rambling update video of me in glasses is your jam. Website is still not entirely finished, but I've got bigger hearty bass to fry right now, so there will be more to look forward to later.
Still here? ♥︎ I see you. And missed you these last few weeks! With Autumn comes livable temperatures for my thermally dysregulated body, and I am happily out there, badly attempting to catch a leaf (official rule in my household is that Autumn does not begin until you have caught a leaf; and I dry my Autumn Leaf in my journal. I have done this for many years), also looking forward to seasonal drinks– and of course, it's a return to risotto season... what are you cooking up for October? And please tell me what your own Autumn tradition is! ♥︎ And I dare you to try to catch a leaf! Embrace whimsy!
