Kickstarter backers enjoy all sorts of special treatment, from Taste Testing and recipe previews, to Discord meme access and stretch goals.
But backers can also do Quests, to unlock a variety of coveted rewards! Below (and on the Discord) you can find in depth details of each currently available quest! Expect more to come over the course of the campaign!

If you have any questions, please check and message the Discord (There’s also a growing FAQ there) or message me directly on Kickstarter, and I will answer as soon as I can!

Twitch Quest:

Objective:

1. Host a cooking livestream on Twitch! Feature a recipe from the cookbook, bonus points if you cosplay, and provide a link in your description to the Kickstarter! Also, if you want, let us (on the Discord) know when you’re about to go live, and we’ll keep you company! Post the link to your Twitch channel in #self-promotion.
2. Send me a Kickstarter message, with the link to your VOD on Twitch!

Rewards:

• +1 filled heart container next to your name in the Thank you section!

Awakening Quest:

Objective:

1. So if you started a Zelda replay with the Replay Quest, now it’s time to finish it!
2. Post a picture with a link to the Kickstarter!
3. Send me a Kickstarter message, with the link to your social media post.

Rewards:

• + fills a heart container next to your name in the Thank you section!

Companion Quest:

Objective:

1. Convince one new friend to join the campaign! Friends who have joined already are lovely but don’t count, they must have joined on or after July 23rd!
2. After they’ve joined send me a message with their Kickstarter name!

Rewards:

• Your name will be emboldened in the thank you section, and + 1 filled heart container.

Hungry Quest:

Objective:

1. Share food with people you love! Bring Monster cupcakes to your friends, or bring a family member some Veggie Cream Soup, or make some Rock Hard Food (graham cracker balls) and hand them out, anything! Make sure to tell them about the Kickstarter!
2. Post a picture with a link to the Kickstarter!
3. Send me a Kickstarter message, with the link to your social media post.

Rewards:

• Fills a heart container next to your thank you name!

Taste Test Quest:

Objective:

1. Try a recipe. Pre-released recipes are on the Discord!
2. Discuss results with me and everyone on Discord!
3. Take a picture, share on social media with a link to the Kickstarter.
4. Send me a Kickstarter message, with the link to your social media post.

Rewards:

• An empty heart container next to your name in the cookbook!

Replay Quest:

Objective:

1. Start a replay (or first play!) of any Zelda game!
2. Share the nostalgia in the Discord!
3. Take a picture, share on social media with a link to the Kickstarter.
4. Send me a Kickstarter message, with the link to your social media post.

Rewards:

• Happiness.
• A special font for your name in the cookbook!
• Fills a heart container next to your name in the cookbook!

First batch Quest:

Objective:

1. Post a public challenge on any social media, and tag 3 fellow Zelda fans to join the Taste Testers with you!

2. Print out the cookbook poster, and, with permission, hang it up in a place like minded people will see it, like a card/comic/game shop or nerdy cafe/bar/arcade!

OR

2. Pull off your own hype battle plan! Maybe you talk about it on your podcast, make a recipe video, or stream for your Youtube or Twitch channel, hand out cards at a con, or use your spy network to get us featured somewhere! If it was successful in spreading the word, it totally counts! If it’s especially amazing maybe your reward will become especially amazing.

3. Send me a Kickstarter message with both: a link to your social media post, and either a picture of the poster hanging somewhere cool OR evidence of some cool hype shenanigans going on!

Rewards:

• Your Kickstarter rewards will be sent in the first batch.
• An empty heart container next to your name in the cookbook.

Forgotten Quest:

Objective:

1. Think of a food inspired by The Legend of Zelda that should be in the cookbook, that isn’t in it already. You can check the pinned recipe index and discuss this quest in the “Forgotten Quest” channel on the Discord.
2. Send me a Kickstarter message, and pitch me the recipe/tell me what I forgot! If I agree, that there isn’t anything too similar in the cookbook already, and that it should be in the cookbook (I’m reasonable), then quest completed!

Rewards:

• The recipe will be included in the cookbook.
• Your name will be listed on that recipe page.
• Fills a heart container next to your name in the cookbook.

Gourmet Quest: Repeatable

Objective:

1. Complete the ‘Taste Test Quest’ again, with one of the other recipes on Discord! This quest is repeatable, you can do it once per recipe that is pre-released during the campaign. For each new recipe you try, you will gain an empty heart container!
2. Discuss results with me and everyone on Discord!
3. Take a picture, share on social media with a link to the Kickstarter.
4. Send me a Kickstarter message, with the link to your social media post.

Rewards:

• An empty heart container next to your name in the cookbook!
